Sri Lanka in a nutshell is beaches, great beaches, great wildlife as well,

and super spicy food.

I was eating mostly vegetarian in Sri Lanka as the locals would.

Towards the end we discovered kottu which is roti bread chopped up with vegetables,

and loads and loads of chili.

It's kind of like an ideal hangover food, actually,

because it's quite... you know, you got your carbs in there,

and then you got your real salty flavor and then it blows your head off at the end.

A lot of people say taking the train is something that's really unmissable.

I did love that but I actually enjoyed the buses more,

because they were crazy.

They're packed with people, they 've got sparkly lights all along the windows, music blasting.

They're so cheap and you're with the locals as well

and crammed in with a few kids on your lap and whatever. So yeah it's great.
