Obama to Girl Scouts: "What Are You Guys Doing in My Yard!?"
Tents for fifty campers were pitched when the tall man with the graying hair walked out onto his lawn and said, " What are you guys doing in my yard?"
What's it look like these Girl Scouts are doing? – We 're camping on your lawn.
You 're camping... – Forget Mr. President. - " Hi Obama!" – It is part of the " Let's Move Outside Campaign " to get kids outdoors.
They did a little rock climbing, they sang campfire songs. - " I love being a Girl Scout."
The President scouted out the First Lady 's dance moves and then he said, " Good night," with a final admonition,
" You guys are n't going to be making a racket, are you?"
Well, they didn't make a racket, but the weather did. Lightning, rain and wind forced the Girl Scouts to evacuate the South Lawn,
ending up at what looked like a pajama party on the fourth floor of the Executive Office Building next door to the White House.
Tweeted one critic, " a knife-wielding maniac can make it into the stateroom of the White House,
Girl Scouts have to settle for a conference room floor a building away.
When the President woke up, he didn't just find the Girl Scouts on his lawn, he found them on morning TV,
talking about their favorite part of the adventure. – Sleeping at the White House. – Yeah.
Yeah. – And seeing Barack Obama. – They didn't just see him. – We can have a group hug.
Scouts rushed him like a swarm of mosquitoes. – Do it really nicely. – One smart little cookie even went back for seconds.
